AbstractNOVELTY - Flora purifying method comprises planting rye into the oil-contaminated soil. USE - The method is useful for restoring the oil-contaminated soil, which can be used as farmland (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method: enables normal growth of rye by direct absorption and degradation of total petroleum hydrocarbons, root development of rye by increasing permeability; enhances soil microbial activity and biodegradation; increases docosahexaenoic acid; removes total petroleum hydrocarbons; recycles oil-contaminated soil to farmland and mountains in a short period of time; and can also involve corn plant to restore the oil-contaminated soil as it has fibrous root which grows narrow and deep into the soil. The rye plant enhances soil biological growth; permeability by its fibrous root; and physical property of the soil.
